Creating a large collaborative meeting space within a glass partitioned area
In a recent project with Sainsbury’s, Dalen Designs met with the client’s facilities management team to discuss a collaborative meeting space. The client required a meeting room solution for their merchandising team to conduct daily category meetings.

Key project criteria:
Simple connectivity options to encourage sharing from devices during meetings.
16-seat solution to facilitate large group discussions and enhance collaboration.
Accommodate a screen to be the focal point for data review and telecommunications connections for communication with other departments.
The solution…
Dalen Designs proposed a Synergy Quad collaborative table for the meeting room. It featured a 65” screen securely mounted on the mast of the table with executive seating available for 16 people to conduct a meeting.
The classic boardroom style shape of the Quad encouraged collaboration between its users, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness required in the quick hour-to-hour meetings.
The table also included two cable ports allowing for any user to simply plug into the screen to display their data. The ports also assisted technicians integrate the telecoms units seamlessly into the table.

Free standing meeting space to be deployed into the room with glass partitions without having to mount a screen on the wall.
Comfortable viewing
Setting the correct height and distance from the table so the screen can be seen and is comfortable for all participants.
Built-in connectivity
Power and data options for mast and cable connectivity to allow simple “plug and play”.
Internal cable management
Cables pass directly from the mast through to the spine allowing a tidy solution and hazard-free environment.
